Several years ago, while working in the Emergency Department, Dr. Sean Scorvo took care of a young girl who had suffered an eye injury from a chemical drain cleaner. He approached David Strayer ,a friend and professional engineer, to discuss possible solutions. They settled on the goal of developing a drain insert that was safer, more convenient, environmentally friendly, and cost effective than anything else on the market. Their testing and development work became a full time endeavor, necessitating that both quit their jobs to devote their time to the project. Three years later, in 2008, David and Sean launched Dynamic Drain Solutions, Inc. and put together a development team to bring their cutting edge products to market.
